Conversation to Explore King's Legacy

Conversation to Explore King's Legacy, Steve Smith, Hartford Courant, April 11, 2018, available here

The Glastonbury Martin Luther King Community Initiative is planning a special community conversation on April 18, to commemorate the 50th anniversary (April 4) of King's assassination, and examine the progress of the social issues King advocated for in that half-century.

The GMLKCI's Leslie Ohta explained that the conversation, titled ""MLK's Legacy: The Dream. The Reality. The Future." will explore social justice issues pertaining to education, immigration, housing, health care, incarceration, and gender.
