When it comes to housing, Connecticut is one of the most segregated states in the country, according to Erin Boggs of the Open Communities Alliance of Hartford, who presented a program Thursday on behalf of the city’s children’s advocacy group.

“We are worse than any place in the south,” she told the 12 or so people gathered at the deKoven House for a program presented by the Middlesex Coalition for Children.
