Coalition Meeting 10/26/23

Connecticut is one of the most racially, ethnically, and economically segregated states in the country. The more separated we are the less we understand each other. Open Communities Alliance is Connecticut-based non-profit organization dedicated to ending residential segregation and ensuring access to affordable housing throughout Connecticut. We are an action-oriented group that focuses on building partnerships, and advocating for meaningful change at the town, state, and federal level.

Learn how to address Affordable Housing Myths! At this meeting, we will learn how to counteract myths about affordable housing, including how mixed income affordable housing in high-resource areas does not have negative repercussions for crime, property values, and more.

Attend our Coalition Meeting on Thursday, October 26th! At this meeting, we will also provide an overview of OCA's issues, legislative priorities, and discuss coalition actions for the upcoming year. In addition, we will discuss the role of Coalition members in helping voucher holders secure housing in your towns.
