Erin Boggs has worked on issues of equity, particularly in the context of housing, for almost 20 years.  After dedicating six years to a range of fair housing issues, such as the foreclosure crisis, the housing challenges faced by people with disabilities, and housing discrimination based on a range of characteristics such as the presence of children, the use of government housing subsidies, and race and ethnicity, Ms. Boggs recognized the need for an organization specifically focused on the intersection of inequality and geography. Lisa Dabrowski, Esq., Policy Analyst,, 860-610-6040 x3512

Lisa Dabrowski joined the Alliance in October 2014 after graduating from the University of Connecticut School of Law. During law school, Ms. Dabrowski focused heavily on civil rights issues, both through coursework and as Managing Editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. She also did an extensive internship with the Connecticut Fair Housing Center, completing research and assisting in drafting the 2015 Connecticut Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice, as well as compiling and analyzing zoning regulations for Connecticut's 169 towns. Ms. Dabrowski also holds a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Connecticut.

Zacchary Powell joins the Alliance with a passion for social justice and the belief that law and policy can work together to create a more equitable and inclusive Connecticut. As a student at Pepperdine University, he studied Political Science and Sociology, with a particular focus on the intersection of race, politics, inequality, and constitutional law.



Bildade Augustin, Consultant

Bildade has spent her life’s work in personal development through education and workforce readiness. She is currently the Program Manager for Capital Crossroads to Careers (C3) at Capital Community College, a highly competitive program for students pursuing careers in the Insurance and Business Finance disciplines through a partnership with Travelers, Inc. and United Health Care. Along with her role with C3, she works with Connecticut’s North Central Region business sectors in ensuring that students completing certification/trade programs through the Department of Workforce and Continuing Education enter into vibrant employment opportunities within the community.
