Poverty Even In Glastonbury

Poverty Even In Glastonbury, Sean Ghio, Hartford Courant, May 29, 2018, available here

More than 1,300 Glastonbury residents live in poverty, according to Census data. Many Glastonbury residents struggle to pay the bills. In fact, nearly 1,100 households in town – more than one in 12 – spend more than half their incomes on housing, according to Census estimates.

I anticipate some readers will respond that people should move if they can't afford to live in Glastonbury. Is this the kind of town and state we want -- a state where families can't weather a setback without uprooting their families?
