AMA calls for alleviating racial housing segregation

AMA calls for alleviating racial housing segregation, Medical Press, August 2, 2018, available here

As part of its efforts, the AMA will not only oppose policies that enable racial housing segregation, but will advocate for continued federal funding of publicly accessible geospatial data on community racial and economic disparities, as well as disparities in access to affordable housing, employment, education, and health care. Specifically, the association calls for continued funding of the Department of Housing and Urban Development Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing tool.
